Picture of the Year (The JimRo Trophy)

Formerly known as the 'Photographer of the Year', this competition is only open to images (digital images, prints and - formerly - slides) submitted in one of the 4 rounds of the Ladder competitions during this season. This competition will find the premier image of the year.

Natural History Photographer of the Year (The Nigel Glover-Wright Trophy)

Natural History has always been a favorite subject at the WHCC. A competition for Prints and Digital images (and formerly Slides) which aims to find the premier Natural History image of the year.

The Digital Audio Visual Competition

The 'The Digital Audio Visual Competition' is an annual fun competition, judged by the audience. Club members create a short slide show, and set it to music.

The 6 x 4 Competition

Formerly known as 'The Enprint Competition'. Renamed 'The 6 x 4 Competition' for the 2014-15 season onwards.

A fun competition, where taking part is more important than the presentation. Entrants submit a panel of prints to be judged by the audience. Print sizes are kept small, with no modification (digital or darkroom) allowed, which makes this a great introduction to club competitions.
