Peru and Ecuador

Now that was a great evening wasn’t it! What was? Last week’s presentation by our own Rachel Paton – that’s what!!
Rachel started the evening by taking us over to Peru where she treated us to lovely images of life in that country. This wasn’t just the Incas but details of life in the towns and cities which Rachel managed to photograph – despite the heat and altitude! Of course the Incas appeared and we saw their impressive methods of building – the size of those blocks of stone!! And of course there was Machu Picchu with its famous vistas.
Then off ‘up north’ to Ecuador (think I know where it is now!) and then over the Pacific to the Galapagos Islands and their stunning – and amazingly tame wildlife!
You shared superb images with us Rachel – and certainly improved my geographical knowledge of the area! Thank you – we look forward to your next presentation!
