Been a bit blog-less during the summer – but here we are again with a bit of catch-up!
So what we bin up to then? Well –there were lots of superb evenings out … Dinton Pastures; Aldermaston Wharf on the K&A; Reading railway station; Lamborghini at Pangbourne followed by St James the Less Church; Beacon Hill near Highclere and Basingstoke town. Many thanks to all who organised these visits and to Ray for co-ordinating the whole thing!
Then of course there was the second exhibition ‘IMAGES 2’ of our work held in Pangbourne Library - a great event which showcased to the community the quality of what we produce in our club and which also extends the library’s community links. It began with a preview evening for members together with invited guests and then ran on during library opening hours for a further successful eight days! Lots of visitors and lots of great comments – spoken and written!
And now the season proper has started – firstly with our customary introductory evening when members’ images taken over the summer were shown along with a number of the digital images from the exhibition.
Well – that’s caught up a bit – watch this space for more comments on our weekly meetings!
