JPCR 6-Club Battle

posted by Ian Lewis in External Competitions

This year's annual competition was held at the Woodley Camera Club with Gordon Roberts as the judge. The competing clubs were from:

  • Burghfield
  • Wokingham & East Berkshire
  • Goring & Streatley
  • Woodley
  • South Reading
  • Whitchurch Hill

Each club entered their best 5 prints (apart from Goring who no longer include prints in their competitions) and 5 digital images and the friendly battle commenced. By the refreshment break, things were looking very good for our club when we had opened up a 9 point lead from Woodley, last year's winner.

In the second half, we again scored very well and we won this section with a lead of 5 points over second place, Wokingham.

At the end of the evening, Gordon announced the winning print and digital image from those entries which had scored the maximum 20 and both awards were taken by members of our club.
