"Oh, ye'll take the high road, and I'll take the low road..." Yes, folks, here we were this week in Bonny Scotland in the company of our very own Graham and Helen, doing the Island Fling and exploring its western coast and islands.

First, though, an introduction to the veritable star of the show..... yes, the Honda itself! Having become acquainted with the machine, we were taken (at some unearthly hour in the morning, apparently) to Ambleside in the Lake District for the first stop. Then, on to Gretna Green (no, they didn't!) before heading to the western coast. From here Graham and Helen took us island hopping through some of the most stunning scenery in Britain. We were shown superb images of this coastal area, notably its islands and lochs (thought Loch Fyne was near The Oracle!). We were introduced to the various ferries to the islands, eventually arriving on The Isle of Skye - having apparently sped on a bonny boat like a bird on the wing!!

Finally we were taken back to England, to Hawes in the rolling Yorkshire Dales and from there to the Ribblehead Viaduct on the Settle - Carlisle line (bet Ian N appreciated that!).

A superb evening, Graham and Helen - great images and you've almost certainly whetted many appetites to travel to the far north!
